Phases of our life covered in the Bible

I Wonder how many of us ever stop to realize that every phase of our lives are mentioned in the bible. They Are. You will find them listed in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. I am listing them below.

1. There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under Heaven.
2.  A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
3.  At time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4.  A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance.
5.  A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to shun embracing
6.  A time to search and a time to give up as lost; a time to keep and a time to throw away.
7.  A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; a time to be silent and a time to speak.
8.  A time to love, and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

It is amazing, but if you take the time to study, not just read the Bible, there is a solution for whatever we come face to face with, is it always what we want? NO!, but what God wants for us,  and has planned for us.

Once we become Christians we become a part of a loving family, or fellowship------The Body of Christ.
We now have the compelling reasons to live righteously and Godly.
Those who follow Christ as the Son of God and Savior are called Christians, nothing else.
If you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear His name (1 Peter 4:16)
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12)

We need to study the Bible because, all scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

How we should live as Christians

Now that we are Christians we need to know how to conduct ourselves in various personal relationships and activities. We need to study further to find instructions  and guidance for our private and personal life. Here are some qualities that we need to develop in our everyday living.

1. Our activities should always be virtuous
2. We should always be striving for more knowledge
3. We should develop self control
4. We should learn patience
5. godliness should always be our goal
6. We should show brotherly kindness to all
7. In all things we should show a spirit of love

Not all these qualities can be learned overnight; it may take a long time to attain improvement in ourselves, but the Christian life is described as a race, a battle, and as a growth, so we should always be striving day by day to be more like the master until all that know us may see the sincerity and reality of our Christianity.

Here are things that are strictly against Gods laws for us as Christians;

1.  Being sexually unfaithful, not being pure
2. Worshiping false Gods
3. Hating
4. making people angry at each other
5. Causing divisions among people
6. Having envy
7. being drunk
8. doing other things like this.    These can be found in Galatians 5:19-21 . . .1 Corinthians 5:11; . . .  6:9: Colossians 3:5-9:  . . . 2 Timothy 3:1-5  These verses cover the following:

a. evil thoughts
b. wanting things that are evil
c. wanting more and more
d. showing anger and a bad temper
e. doing or saying things to hurt others
f. using evil words when we talk
g. lying
h. loving ourselves too much
i. loving money
j. having too much pride
k. not having love for others
l. refusing to forgive others
m. lack of self control
n. being cruel to others
o. turning against friends or brothers
p. doing and saying foolish things without thinking
q. loving pleasure and not loving God

As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one . . . for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God ( Romans 3:10, 23 ), But if you become a Christian you then have the grace of God to be saved.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive us of our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:8-9 ).
